Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how OrbitPros LLC ("OrbitPros," "we," "us"), a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 30 N Gould Street, Suite N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our services:
- Customer booking service — app.orbitpros.co, where homeowners get a quote and book a professional Starlink installation;
- Installer app — pros.orbitpros.co, where installation professionals apply, receive jobs, and track payouts;
- Partners portal — partners.orbitpros.co, the dispatch portal for partner organizations; and
- our marketing website at orbitpros.co.
This policy applies to the web versions of these services and to the installable app versions of them on your phone or tablet.
1. Information we collect
If you are a customer
- Contact and identity: name, email address, phone number.
- Service address and property details: street address, ZIP code, and installation-relevant details you provide (roof material, router location, wall construction, attic access, HOA restrictions, sky visibility, and similar).
- Booking and order information: your quote, selected equipment, install time window, booking status, and order history.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe (see Section 4). We do not store your full card number.
- Reviews and job documentation: ratings and comments you submit, and before/after photos of the completed installation taken for quality documentation.
If you are an installer or installer applicant
- Contact and identity: name, business name, email, phone, city, state, base ZIP.
- Professional qualifications: years of experience, licensing status, insurance details (carrier, coverage, expiration), certifications, service radius, vehicle description, and application answers.
- Verification data: identity verification and background check results provided by our verification partners (see Section 5). We receive the outcome (for example, "cleared"), not the underlying government records.
- Payout data: Stripe Connect account status and payout history. Bank details are collected directly by Stripe, not by us.
- Work records: jobs offered, accepted, declined, and completed, and related documentation.
If you are a partner organization user
- Business contact information: organization name, your name, work email and phone, and your role.
- Dispatch activity: jobs claimed, crew assignments, and team management actions in the portal.
Collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and request logs kept for security and troubleshooting.
- Sign-in tokens: we use passwordless magic-link sign-in. A session token is stored in your browser's local storage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.
2. How we use information
- To provide quotes, schedule and fulfill installations, and dispatch jobs to installers and partner organizations.
- To verify installer identity, licensing, insurance, and background as part of our vetting program.
- To process payments, payouts, and refunds.
- To communicate with you about your booking, application, jobs, or account — including transactional email and, if you opt in, SMS.
- To publish reviews you choose to submit (moderated before publication).
- To secure, maintain, and improve the services, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. AI-assisted support
We use software tools, including AI assistants, to help draft responses to inquiries and route requests. A human reviews outbound communications drafted this way. We do not use your personal information to train third-party AI models.
4. Payments
Payments and installer payouts are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. Installers' payout bank details are collected by Stripe through Stripe Connect. OrbitPros receives transaction confirmations and limited payment metadata (such as the last four digits of a card), not full card numbers.
5. How we share information
- To fulfill your installation: if you are a customer, we share your name, contact information, service address, and job details with the installer or partner organization assigned to your job — that is the point of the service.
- Service providers working on our behalf: Stripe (payments and payouts), Airtable (operational database), Cloudflare (hosting, security, and email delivery), identity-verification and background-check providers (for installer vetting), and email/automation tooling used to send transactional messages.
- Legal: when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of OrbitPros, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the services and for legitimate business purposes afterward — for example, records of completed transactions, payouts, workmanship-guarantee coverage, tax, and accounting are retained as required by law. Installer application records for applicants who are not onboarded are kept for a reasonable period in case of re-application, then deleted on request or on our periodic cleanup.
7. Security
Access credentials to our systems are held server-side and are never exposed to your browser. Sign-in uses single-use, time-limited magic links. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least privilege and minimize what we collect.
8. Your rights and choices — including account deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy law; we honor reasonable requests from all users regardless of state.
Delete your account and data:
We verify each request (typically by confirming control of the account email), then delete the account and associated personal information within 30 days. Records we are legally required to keep — such as completed-transaction, payout, and tax records — are retained in a restricted form for the legally required period and then deleted.
SMS: if you opted in to SMS updates, reply STOP at any time to opt out. Email: transactional emails (booking confirmations, sign-in links, job notifications) are sent as part of the service; marketing email, where used, always includes an unsubscribe link.
9. Children
Our services are for adults arranging or performing residential installation work. They are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
